Black Forest Christian Fellowship has been part of the English-language community of Kandern, Germany, for over 25 years.  We began as a way for Black Forest Academy to provide Sunday morning fellowship and worship for the staff and students of this school.  

As time went on other English-speaking families living in the Kandern area began to take part in the services as well. In recent years a number of other English-speaking internationals from the surrounding areas of the Black Forest; Basel, Switzerland; and the French Alsace have made BFCF their church home.

We are people who come from different countries including countries in Europe, North America, and Asia.

We are people who are from different generations; more than 50% of the congregants are students.

We are people from different church traditions; Anglican, Baptist, Presbyterian, Assemblies of God, and others.

But by God's grace we are one family in Christ!
